Brazilian Middleweight Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua (20-12-1) is a veteran of MECA, Pride FC, Strikeforce & Elite XC. Ninja has competed within 3 separate weight classes facing the who’s who in MMA with fights against notable opponents such as Dan Henderson, Ricardo Arona, Quinton Jackson & Robbie Lawler. An aggressive Muay Thai specialist with a Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu he Began his journey under the famed Chute Boxe academy in Curitiba Brazil, training alongside champions such as Jose Pele Landi, Wanderlei Silva and his younger brother Mauricio ’Shogun’ Rua.  In 2008 he  added his name to that great list of champions by knocking out Joey Villasenor to become the first Elite XC middleweight champion. In 2011 Ninja decided to hang up his gloves. As a huge fan of his exciting and aggressive style he will be missed.
